Or are we all?

The last couple of weeks have been really interesting here. We have been on the phone with REALTORS from coast to coast. Everyone is not laying down and covering their head. And that is great. If each of us takes a different approach and looks out for others rather than just worrying about ourselves it all gets a  little better.
Just yesterday I was on the phone talking with a REALTOR that was excited about delivering his neighborhood their own interactive site. He and his wife knew that the people in their neighborhood wanted to talk about what was going on. The Stock Market, Jobs and the coming election was on everyone’s mind. And by bringing them their own site the neighborhood could band together and talk it out through the hardest things. But they knew it was going to cost them to get this started. And at a time they were cutting back. So what did they do?
They canceled their ad with Homes and Land. It wasn’t helping them and it sure wasn’t benefiting their neighborhood. So bam…it was gone.
And they started a different way of advertising their homes for sale but in a place that helps all.
It seems that hard times brings out the best in people.
