I said before that was my resolution – to use the site again to get buyers. It works. My bigger resolution is to stay positive, especially when things are tough. The bet way to do that is to keep trying even when it looks like a lost cause. Marketing my neighborhood feels like a lost cause sometimes but I still gotta do it to get my business.

AHHH! Homes and Land…………..Ever notice how thin that catalog keeps getting?(buyers and sellers continue to use the internet more and more) I used them for one month, should have used the all that money and went on vacation instead.

It’s like if you were looking for a treadmill to lose a few pounds (hint to self), of course it works………..if you actually use it. Treadmills (or My Online Neighborhood) wouldn’t have been on the market as long as they have if it didn’t work.

Things will definitely get better, people will always need a place to live. I have the utmost faith in this country’s ability to rebound from tough times. There was more public worry and negativity about the economy back in the mid 80s and look at the huge rebound we had after that.

“Yes, it’s a tough time right now, but that’s the best reason to really dig in and search out creative solutions for growing business.” I love that attitude! That is exactly right, sales are not going to be knocking at your door anymore, but they are still out there. I’ll admit, the last few years have been a vacation for many realtors, now its time to get back to work. If you just put a little work into it and try out some new and unique tools to spread your sphere of influence (A community website being an excellent tool) you will make it through these tougher times, no prob. Plus, when the market turns around (which will be sooner rather than later) you’ll have an excellent foundation and a head start on every other realtor out there.
