Wow! What a great story. It is amazing how things can work out like that. Now they’re dedicated users on that site and I’m sure all their friends and family know about it now as well. That is quite a bit of exposure for one simple Holiday Decorating Contest!
I really like the way that the Neighborhood site works—and I really love the idea of giving something back to the community. Also, a Holiday Decorating contest isn’t that difficult to organize.

Imagine doing something like this every month. Maybe a yard competition in the Spring, a pumpkin carving contest, etc.
